On behalf of Northern Star Scouting and the members of PwdRacing\, we would like to invite every registered Cub Scout and their friends to join us for the Council Grand Championship! \nEvent Eligibility \nIn order to race at the Northern Star Scouting Cub Scout Championship\, the participant must satisfy one of the three membership requirements. \n\nRegistered as a Cub Scout at some point during the 2023-2024 Scouting program year.\n5th Grade Cub Scout who bridged (joined) Scouts BSA since September 1st\, 2023\nIf neither of the two above conditions are met\, you may register in the Open Division\n\nCheck-In and Race Times \nCar Check in Times: \n\nLion/Tiger 8:30-9:30 a.m.\nWolf/Bear 10:00-11:30 a.m.\nWebelos/AOL 12:00-1:30 p.m.\nOpen Division Any time prior to Webelos/AOL race\n\nRace Times: \n\nLion/Tiger 10:00 a.m.\nWolf/Bear 12:00 p.m.\nWebelos/AOL 2:00 p.m.\nOpen Division Immediately following award ceremony\n\nNEW THIS YEAR – Rank Champion will be awarded (5 fastest cars from the Rank will be averaged) \nAll Cub Scouts should register in their current rank as of February 1st\, 2024.\nAll other participants should register in the Open Division based on age. \nAwards will be give after each division race.

DESCRIPTION:Note: Watch for a new date for this event\, it has been postponed to August due to wet conditions at the parks and timing conflicts.  \nOur annual Rocket Launch will be taking place in June\, this date is tentative and may change. We will hand out rockets at the May pack meeting. \nThe public is welcome to come and see what Scouting in Lonsdale is about… rockets can be won in a game of Plinko or purchased at our booth at the Lonsdale Street Fair on May 14th\, or contact the Cubmaster for more details.  Non-members\, please register below so that we can update you on the final date and time of the rocket launch.
