I have been hitting the gym recently.
I haven’t lost any weight yet, but my hand sure does hurt from “hitting” the gym so much.
Why do hamburgers go to the gym?
      To get better buns.
Got a story, two Chameleons walked in a gym.
The first one says “Spot me while I lift these weights, bro”
The second goes “Who said that?”
What is a banana’s best gymnastics move?
      A split!
    • Okay, seriously now… In Cub Scouts, we’re all about getting outside, moving around, and having fun! That’s why this month, we’re turning Trondhjem’s backyard into a super cool fitness challenge. Time to pause the TV, step away from the video games, and see if you can keep the ‘Outing’ in ‘Scouting.’ Let’s get some fresh air, break a sweat, and maybe even beat your grown-ups in a race—because why not?
    • Our activity today is the annual Cubanapolis 500, the ultimate test of mental and physical strength! As you complete this challenge, I’d like you to consider how the Scout Motto, which we talked about last week, could play a factor in having a successful race? Do Your Best, Help Others. Make sure to ponder that.
    • First 30 minutes, build your car
    • Second 30 minutes, run the races

Winning in life, isn’t always about crossing the finish line first. As Scouts, doing our best, and helping others is always what we value most. This was a pretty active meeting, we did our best by being healthy and fit, just like the Cub Scout core values tell us. We do our best to make sure we stay as strong and healthy as we can. We do our best every day in every way to realize the beauty of the outdoors, to respect it and enjoy it, knowing that we are a part of our world and are important to the future of the world. We helped others in our groups to make it to the finish line, just like we do every day out in our everyday worlds, we help others to make the world a better place. You are our future, Scouts—we trust in you! Thank you for listening to this month’s edition of the Cubmaster’s Minute, and thank you for a great 1st Pack Meeting!
  2. Now before we retire the colors, Does anyone have any closing questions, stories, jokes, songs, interpretive dances, family recipes???
