Entrepreneurship

Our Pack has an annual popcorn sale fundraiser. The Scouts can sell on their own door-to-door, join groups of other Scouts selling at various storefronts, and also do neighborhood door-to-door sales as a group.  If your kids like the idea of a lemonade stand, this is definitely up their alley. If they aren’t into selling stuff, this is a great way to get them out of their shells in a group setting.

Fundraising in our Pack goes a long way not only toward helping fund our activities so that parents don’t have to pay dues, but a good portion also goes into their individual Scout Accounts which can be used to pay the annual registration fees, camp fees, or even for camping gear or other Scouting related gear.

And unlike the lemonade stand, the popcorn fundraising provider lets customers pay online, with a credit card, etc making the initiative fun and easy and more focused on the skills that matter most.
